Small update this week with the first volunteers attending muster for the newly formed East Riding Peoples Column.
Figures are a mix of Footsore interwar types and some more of the Sloppy Jaloppy miners set. More lined up on the painting table.
Stay Safe Matt
A fierce looking bunch! Very nice painting. Love the patterned hats.
ReplyDeleteSuper looking east Riddings peoples front members!

Brilliant. Love the patterned scarf and natty plaids.
ReplyDeleteNice work. The detail on the clothing helps bring the figures to life.
ReplyDeleteGreat bunch of militia.
ReplyDeleteUs boys in the North Riding would sort them out 😉 lovely stuff 👍
ReplyDeleteExcellent figures. I especially like to see the Castleford Tigers scarf (though it could equally be Wolves, I suppose, which might be a worrying hint of a fifth columnist!) Looking forward to more of these.
ReplyDeleteFashionable peeps! Who said that workfolk don't know how to dress sharply?!
ReplyDeleteGreat painting ...
ReplyDeleteAgree with earlier comments and for UK based members we we need full authenticity over the scarf colours being used. Its set in 1930's ....Could be football - Hull City?
Great stuff Matt.
