From TeemuL: Blood Bowl accessories

Something small again, and I don't just mean dwarfes. These are the accessories, which come with the team. I bought this one several years ago and painted the team as well, but these took a long time. I had the generic plastic markers already and lots of balls, so these were not necessary. I started paiting these some time ago, a year or most likely two ago and finally finished these yesterday night.

The difficult part for me with these is to keep them tidy, sometimes the 3D effect is more time consuming than 2D free hand. And since these would not give me any points during the Painting Challenge(s), they have been on the back burner.

As you can see from this last photo, the colors match my blue-and-blue(-and-blue) dwarf team. I could have put some blue on the balls as well, but I decided to keep them leathery brown.

From Barks: Blood Bowl Orc throwers

I've still got more to go with this team, but this is my final entry this Challenge.

I'm pretty happy with his goggles.

Thanks Curt and all Quarantiners! Stay safe out there.

From Barks: Blood Bowl Black Orcs

This orc project has been a real marathon, I can't say I've enjoyed the process. But I am getting there. Herewith, four Black Orc Blockers for Blood Bowl. They're meaty, on 30mm bases.

From Barks: More Blood Bowl Orcs

I am slogging my way through this project. All the white needs a black undercoat, all the yellow needs a brown undercoat, all the metal gets a black undercoat... it is slow going. But I made progress with these Blitzers who are some of the best players in the game.

I rewarded myself with these squigs, which have been on my to-do list for years. They'll be turn markers or reroll counters or something. Three are GW, and the helmeted one is from Goblin Guild.

I think squigs are one of GW's best inventions.

From Barks: Line orcs

This coming weekend would have been Eucalyptus Bowl in Sydney, but due to COVID it was called off. I feel a bit of a Cassandra as I predicted that in mid-March. Lucky for me as my team is far from painted! These resin figures are from RN Estudio. I have over a dozen to go, and they're a real slog- white, red, and yellow are labour-intensive colours.
