from RayR - Haitian Revolution - French Line

I had a massive stroke of luck back in March at the Skirmish wargame show. I was having a chat with Stu from Col Bill's aabout my new project the Haitian Revolution. He then said he'd just bought some part painted at a show the day before. So we both went out to his van and he pulled out a giant bag of figures!!!! A right princely sum was duly handed over, saving me a fair few quid and saving the Col the time in unbasing and stripping the figures.
I cannot say that I painted these entirely, because I didn't, they'd nearly all been prepainted but been bashed around in the bag and mainly needed a bit of TLC.

So a little TLC was given, I based them on Warbases 25mm round bases and voila! They ready to go.

There was also 4 command figures with a flag already attached! To say I'm pleased is an understatement!

from Ray R - Donnybrook Poor Folk

Once again, these have been sitting in the same bag I bought them in for many many moons!!
I'd take a guess at, at least 5 years!

So during the Lockdown I thought it was about time they got a lick of paint.
I'm not sure if they're still available or if they're even on the Redoubt website??

I kept the colours kind of muted and dull as the figures represent poor folk or old soldiers begging.
These of course will make in into the Donnybrook civvy box, one day they will make an appearance!

from RayR 15mm Hovels - European Buildings

Its about time I put up something new up that I've painted during the  lockdown.
I've had these collection of Hovels buildings for a few years now, I bought them at a show all prepainted. I've given them all a new coat of paint as they were all previously painted the same dull beige colour.

What with the plastic houses I picked up at a show a while ago, I've enough buildings for a extremely large town.

Stacks more than I actually need, but you know what its like........

I was going to try and keep track of the points I'd earn with these in the Challenge.
But can't work it out???
Any ideas?
There are 13 buildings in all.

from RayR - 25mm 3rd Chasseur a Cheval

I thought it was about time I posted some figures in the all new Quarantine Challenge!
Like the majority of you guys I'm off work at the moment on Furlough, there isn't a lot
of call for beer at the moment, don't know if you've noticed???
I'm on the start of week three and have been working on these luvvly looking chaps, the 3rd Chasseurs a Chaval.

The keen eyed among you will notice that they're not based???
That's because I've painted them up for a fellow blooger Dave Crook. here's a link to Dave's blog,
Dave is in the middle of a Napoleonic adventure, he's collecting the range of figures produced
by Del Prado a few years ago for the Battle of Waterloo. There are a few units missing from the collection one being the 3rd Chasseurs a Cheval.
Gotta admit these figures nearly killed me, they're old Minifigs and don't have a lot of detail on
them, and what's there you really have to dig out, but I persevered and got them completed.
Hopefully they'll be off in the post to Dave soon, so he can do the biz with them. He's going all old school on them, basing them on plain green bases and slopping 10 ton of gloss varnish all over them.
Just for my own personal tally, I'm giving myself points as we do in the AHPC. So these bad boys are worth 200 points, but they're not based so I'll knock off 10% giving me a grand total of
180!
